Missing Arrows on the Scroll-able GPS Info Bar

In ArcGIS for Windows Mobile, the GPS Info bar at the bottom of the map view can be scrolled during data collection to display: current coordinates, current estimated accuracy, predicted post-processed accuracy, and number of averaged points in the current feature (or vertex).  In the latest release of the Trimble Positions Mobile extension (10.1.1.1), you might notice different behavior in this area.  Specifically, you might not initially see any arrows on the bar rendering it un-scrollable:

Previously, there was a particular screen workflow which would cause this and the only solution was to re-start the application.  We introduced a fix in this version to correct it.  The one caveat to the fix is that the arrows might not be visible initially.  To resolve this, you only need to do the following one time:

  1. Open the default ‘Map View’ as accessible from the list of Tasks.
  2. Click the ‘Menu’ softkey, and find the ‘GPS’ menu item.
  3. In the sub-menu, check the ‘Show GPS Info’ item. If it is already checked, un-check and re-check it.

The next time you enter the map view during data collection, the arrows should be visible and functional.
